On the coast in Kent Lucretius's, "How 'tis that" from in "On the Nature of Things" seems to grab me.

I spend time making rubbings, drawing and photographs and collecting materials to make inks, pigments and resists.

Currently I am developing a chalk based white ground for etching, a charcoal based sugar lift and a rubbing crayon for making field rubbings aiming to transfer them onto plates to etch.
