Work in Progress

Currently I am experimenting with frottage, rubbing of rocks I find on the beach. To capture the trace my tactile contact with the stone I have been trying different media and making my own to enable me to transfer the rubbings to metal plates. 

I responsibly, collect materials such as chalk and sea worn brick on site to process into pigments, resists and inks for printmaking. Currently I'm trying to develop a chalk based white ground for etching and charcoal based sugar lift.
